Ovocnářská unie České republiky (Union of Fruit Growers in the Czech Republic)

Union of Fruit Growers in the Czech Republic (OUČR) is professional non-governmental organisation established in 1992. The union groups more than 500 fruit-growers, what represents more than 50% of total number of entities involved into fruit-growing sector and represents more than 80% of fruit - production in the Czech republic.
The union has 5 regional branches and 3 special professional units - Association for integrated fruit-growing systems (SISPO), Fruit-tree Nurserymen Association (ŠS OUČR) and Association for Post Harvest Technologies (SSO).
Our union matches practical fruit-growing sector with legislative requirerents represented by law and responsible control and check organisations, research institutions, etc. OUČR provides professional service – consultations, trainings, conferences and try to introduce new growing technologies into practise.
The World Apple and Pear Association:
WAPA is an industry body established in 2001 to provide a global forum for representatives of apple and pear producing countries. The Association harnesses the collective strength of all members' inputs to foster and enhance business opportunities for the collective benefit of both sectors. This collective will is essential to help maintain the exclusive position of apple and pears in the minds of consumers and to increase the strength of apple and pear producers on the global political agenda.
